Adult Coloring Books

As you have probably noticed, adult coloring books are all the rage right now, and for good reason! Of course coloring is fun, but did you know it’s also great for your mental health? By choosing to focus on art, in this case coloring, you are forcing your brain not to focus on potentially harmful thoughts and behaviors. Coloring is soothing, intellectually stimulating, and good for your mental health. What more could a person ask for? SWEAR WORDS, that’s what! In a bad mood? What better than to color offensively awesome swear words and pretty flowers?

Color & Swear: A Swear Word Coloring Book for Adults

After reading some of my Amazon reviews of similar items, author J.J. Rashid mailed me a promotional copy of Color & Swear: A Swear Word Coloring Book for Adults. I promised to look it over and share my opinion, good or bad, with my friends and followers.

The verdict? I LOVE it. This is a nice coloring book at a great price. The pages are not thin and flimsy like some I’ve purchased, plus they’re one-sided and the backside is black, so even if you’re a little heavy-handed with the gel pens, as I sometimes tend to be, you won’t see any bleed-through! There are over 40 pages to color, each featuring a different sweary phrase or word accompanied by various animals, plants, leaves, flowers, and mandalas. The lines are thick, making it easier for impatient people like me to stay within the lines. The cover is heavy-duty and glossy, not likely to tear easily or get smudged with inky fingers.
